Trolling Reels

Trolling reels range from the single action "Mooching" style reels to Multipliers  with or without Line counters. For Trolling with Divers or Diving Lures it is important to have a reel with a Linecounter, the Line counter allows you to let your lure or Diver out a certain distance so it will dive to the desired depth. Mooching Reels are mainly used for Flatline trolling with shallow running lures eg: Raplalas or Tobys.

DAIWA LINE COUNTER REELS

The new Accudepth Plus series of reels are the latest Line counter Reels from Diawa they are new for 2007. They are an improvement on the SGA series and original Accudepths. They are getting great reviews on the Great Lakes web sites.

CONVECTOR REELS

The Convector is the latest reel from Okuma it features a metal spool and Ti coated levelwind it has a larger gearbox and a Micro click Drag system for smooth and precise drag settings. The CV20D is fitted with the handle pictured and has a spare smaller paddle wheel handle in the box. Price £69.00
