For Trolling with Divers or Diving Lures it is important to have a reel with a Linecounter, the Line counter allows you to let your lure or Diver out a certain distance so it will dive to the desired depth. Okuma Reels Preloaded with Leadcore Line The Okuma Magda Pro 30 filled with leadcore line and backing and ready to fish with. Leadcore is the easiest method to use to get down deep you simply feed out the line and it takes your lure down to a set depth, you can use Spoons,Cutplugs or Shallow Crankbaits, it is a very effective method of trolling. We offer 2 different lengths of leadcore 3 colours and 5 colours. Leadcore sinks approximately 4 to 5ft per colour so a 3 colour reel will get down to 12 to 15ft ,and the 5 colour reel gets down to 20 to 25 ft. You can use standard rods for this method so there is no need to buy new rods to try it out, just use you existing ones.
