DEADBAIT TROLLING We have probably the most varied selection of bait holders for Trolling with deadbaits available.We have gathered a selection of Bait Heads and Bait Holders for trolling with they range from Un-rigged Rhys Davis Herring Specials where you can put on your own selection of hooks to the VuoksiRaksi wobbler that comes with hooks. Our new Baithoods are cast in brass and are custom made to fit the head of the particular bait fish being Trolled. The most difficult part of trolling with Deadbaits is finding a trolling rig that is easy to mount the bait on and still give the required action in the water, below you will find bait mounts that will make your deadbaits wiggle, wobble or roll through the water and covering bait sizes from 2"to 12".

The head will take a variety of baits from 5 to 7" long like Trout, Smolts,
Pollen and Gudgeon any fish with a roundish section head should fit in the
bait holder and be pinned in place with the cocktail stick going
right through the bait fishes head. Conehead weighs 15gr or 1/2oz in old money.
BAIT HOODS First a mould is made from the head of the fish Trout, Roach etc and the Baithood is modeled from that and then another mould is made to cast the heads in Brass with cast in stainless steel line ties and hook mounts. It is a simple job to mount the bait you just have to push the baitfish into the head and secure with a tooth pick through the head and you can either leave the hooks trailing the bait or or insert one of the points of the trebles to fix the hook. This new Baithood gives weight to the baitfish and it has a diving vane that gives a realistic swimming action through the water. The sizes and types available at the moment fit Roach 4 to 5" long and Trout 5 to 6" long, more styles and sizes will be available shortly, we aim to have bait heads that will fit the fish commonly sold in Baitpacks from the likes of Lucebaits and Baitbox. Each Baithood is rigged with 2 treble hooks and is supplied with extra splitrings and wire links to allow you to rig the hooks in the position you want.
12" TROUT TROLLING HEAD
The ultimate Big Bait Trolling head, if you troll for big Pike or Ferox Trout with Big Baits this Bait Head will solve the problem how to mount the bait. Cast in Brass with stainless steel hook mounts, this bait head weighs 2oz and the low center of gravity keeps the baitfish in the correct swimming position the diving vane allows trolling without up line weights and gives the bait a great swimming action.The hooks fitted to the mount are Eagle Claw E774 4X Strong Lazer sharp and Guaranteed not to straighten out .Price £12.50.
LAMPREY TROLLING HEAD
Lampreys are one of the top baits for pike, the Trolling Head allows you to quickly mount the bait for trolling. You simply stick the baits head into the cast brass head and pin in position with a cocktail stick. When dropped in the water the diving vane causes the bait to dive down with an attractive wiggle, included in the pack are extra wire and hooks to allow you to position the hooks to where you would prefer them. If you are a traditional Salmon Troller a Pike Troller or if you Troll in the Sea for Bass, Sprats have always been one of the top baits. The hardest thing has been trying to get decent Sprat mounts for trolling them, above is a cast brass head that will suit baits from 4" to 6" long, you simply insert the bait into the hood and pin in place with a cocktail stick, the hooks are best left trailing the bait so as not to interfere with the action, the head gives the bait a swimming action like a Rapala type lure. Extra wires are included to allow you to position the trebles where you want them. Available in Pink, Black, Chartreuse, Orange and Green and fitted with VMC Red treble hooks in size 4. INVISIBLE TROLLING RIG
A larger version of the minnow rig the Trolling rig is suitable for baits from 5" to 8" in length Trout, Perch , Roach or any Baitfish. With the aid of a baiting needle you just insert the wire into the mouth and out the vent and attach the clip on Treble. When you pull back on the bait mount the two spikes lock the bait on internally, you then insert the head and body hooks. When trolled through the water the blade at the head gives plenty of flash and action to the bait. Price £4.75 each.
DUTYS INVISIBLE MINNOW RIG
A Trolling Rig for baits up to 5" long used in conjunction with the baiting needles (bottom of page) the needle is inserted into the baits mouth and out the vent and then the clip in double hook is attached. Bechold Bullet fish holder, this is a hinged bait head that clips over your fished head/nose region it has 2 fins that make the bait roll as it is trolled through the water. A pack of 3 un-rigged bait holders that allow you
to fit your own hooks and swivels etc. Simply thread the bait holder through a
wire trace when making up and rig up the hooks of your preference Siwash or
Trebles. To rig up the baitfish simply open the holder and clip it onto
the nose of the fish and fix the hook positions by inserting a tooth pick into

ANTI-KINK ATTRACTORS When trolling with baits that roll, line twist is always a problem unless you use an anti-kink vane or weight. Below is a combination anti-kink weight and attractor blade. Place it a foot or two ahead of your bait and it will stop line twist as well as giving a bit of flash to attract prey fish to come and look at your bait. Available in two sizes 1 oz and 2 oz.

BAITING NEEDLES
2 Sizes of baiting needles for threading your wire trace through deadbaits the sizes are 2½" and 5" they have an open eye that allows you to slip your leader/trace into before pulling through the bait.
