LUHR JENSEN LUHR-SPEED

A trolling speed indicator that is easy to read and it very accurate and does no rely on batteries or electrics. It reads in MPH or Knots and it accurate to 1/10th of a Knot, I used  one on my boat before I got GPS, we compared it to the GPS and it is very accurate and i would say it is slightly better to use and read that the GPS. It mounts on to your boat via a mounting plate, but with some minor adjustments it can be simply G-clamp'd to hire boats or boats not fitted with the mounting plate. When using this  it allows you to understand when a spoon or bait will lose its action and then become less effective.It works by having the counter weight hanging in the water and as you troll forward it acts on the swinging arm moving the arrow to the speed you are doing.
